Welcome to another exciting season of the North East Premier League!
Our Adult League is full-field and since 2022, it is no longer coed. We have separate Men and Women Divisions! Although it is referred as "Adult League", it is specific to non-NCAA players. In the spirit of promoting adult field hockey, including active NCAA coaches, college players in current Varsity teams or upcoming high school players that would create a perceived violation of NCAA compliance are not allowed. NEPL has established a firm rule on this matter. To those players this rule unfortunately may impact, we look forward to your post-NCAA playing days and hope to have you for many many years!
We are pleased to announce we will be at Boston University this 2026 season.
ABOUT US:
North East Premier League (NEPL) is a nonprofit field hockey league with a simple mission: To provide a competitive adult (non-NCAA) field hockey league in Boston and to promote the sport in our community. We hope you agree we are accomplishing this each season!
***WOMEN DIVISION: 6 TEAM FEE SPOTS
(7 regular season games + 1 guaranteed playoff)
***MEN DIVISION: 2 TEAMs
(best of 7 games series + 1 friendly/open game)
2026 TEAM fee (WOMEN’S): $2,300. There is a $500 deposit to hold one of the Six team spots. The rest of the balance will be due by the first game.
2026 INDIVIDUAL FEE (MEN’S): THE ENTRY FEE IS $150 PER INDIVIDUAL
WOMEN’S DIVISION
$500 deposit. Remaining Balance due at first game of the season.
$2,600 TEAM FEE INCLUDES:
(15) League shirts and matching socks.
Each team will play each other at least once during regular season
(1) guaranteed Playoff game
ADULT - WOMEN’S DIVISION:
Female players only with the exception of goalkeepers.
Non-NCAA players
11 v 11 format (full field) with FIH rules
50 minute games weekly for regular season; (2) 25-min. running halves.
Two officials per game (rated Level II and up)
$500 deposit. Remaining Balance due at first game of the season.

Up to (3) Women’s players permitted to fill in roster spaces when needed
